(L-R) CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog, His Excellency Prasas Prasasvinitchai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand, Hon. Carmelo Arcilla, executive director of the Civil Aeronautics Board, CEB VP for Airport Services Antonio Jose Rodriguez and cabin crew officially launched the airline’s pioneering flight from Manila to Phuket last August 16, 2013.

Cebu Pacific Celebrated their first flight direct flight from Manila to Phuket Thailand Last August 16, 2013. This was a big event for Cebu Pacific since they are the first local carrier to service a direct flight from Manila to Phuket.

As part of their celebration, Cebu Pacific together with the Ambassador of Thailand, His Excellency Prasas Prasasvinitchai and Hon. Carmelo Arcilla, the executive director of the Civil Aeronautics Board send the passengers of the very first direct flight of to Phuket.

The flight took off at 8pm and arrived in Phuket at 11pm and the return flight was on the next day leaving 12am and arrived at Manila at 5:35am.

The direct Manila to Phuket flight will be operating three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) besides their regular flights to Bangkok making it 14 flights a week for Cebu Pacific in Thailand.

Phuket is the most accessible of Thailand’s island destinations and it’s also the gateway to a great many of the world famous Thailand beaches, national parks and islands that come to mind when you think of Thailand.

The locals there, they live at a more ‘traditional pace’ and there are many beautiful examples of Chinese Shrines and Temples.

While the beaches and blue skies are a major draw, I think it is the range of activities on offer that makes Phuket such a great all round destination.

You’ve got Famous island excursions, world class snorkeling and dive trips, boat trips, Elephant Trekking, Jungle Safari, World Class Golf Courses, cooking classes, traditional Thai massage, Caberet, go-carting, water parks, shooting ranges…

Here are some few destinations that you might want to consider if your planning to visit Phuket:

Surin Beach

Karon Beach

The Big Buddha

Similan Island

And the most famous Local and Tourist Attraction of All in Phuket

The Naka Weekend Market

Passengers of Cebu Pacific to and from Thailand increased by 13.6%  this January to June of this year and I'm pretty sure that it will continue to increase more by the end of the year with their additional flights to Phuket.

The lowest year-round fare to Phuket starts at P3,449 and knowing Cebu Pacific, I'm sure that they will be giving promos and contest to their Manila to Phuket Direct flight and back.

Just dont forget to like and add Cebu Pacific FB page to your Interest list so that your always updated and won't be missing out on their announcement!!!
