TO ALL MSOB RESIDENT AUTHORS:

Isa sa naka line-up kong target (aside sa pagpa-publish ng sa “Munting Lihim” at “Ang Kuya Kong Crush Ng Bayan”) ay ang pag-publish sa akda kong “Palitan Ng Puso” na i-partner ko sa mapili sa mga submissions ng active authors ng MSOB.

Ang target kong date para sa publication ng “Palitan Ng Puso” + akda ng kung sino man ang mapili ay sa JANUARY, 2014.

Ito po ang magiging proseso:

1) Call for Submissions/date of submissions:  JUNE – SEPTEMBER, 2013

2) Preliminary Selection: OCTOBER, 2013

Pipili ako sa tulong ng selected Admins ng MSOB ng 3 hanggang 5 entries na magaling.

3) Voting/Poll: OCTOBER - NOVEMBER, 2013

Ipost natin dito sa MSOB Blog ang mga teasers ng 3 hanggang limang napili + image ng mga kuwento nila. Kung sino man ang may pinakamaraming boto, siya ang final na isali natin sa book. Anonymous ang author upang kahit papaano, ang content ng teasers ang pagbobotohan, hindi ang author mismo. We will find a way na isang boto lamang ang puwede per IP Address, if mayroong ganito.

3) Final Selection and Announcement: DECEMBER, 2013

4) Target publication: JANUARY, 2014

5) Target release ng book: END OF JANUARY, 2014

b) Length: Maximum of 25K words

Note: In case ang isang submitted story ay hindi mapili, may option ang mga hindi napili:

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS PARA SA INDIE/DIGITAL MOVIE

I have made up my mind po… I will produce a low-budget “Indie Film” and I am banking on volunteers who are willing to be a part of the team to help me realize this goal. 

Matagal pa naman ito, Jun, 2014 pa but dahil mga newbies po ang magdadala nito, we need to organize ourselves this early and do researches for added information. 

Ang objective po nitong gagawin namin is to show to everyone that movie-making is not only for those who have the traditional clout and the money in film-making kundi puwede rin itong magawa ng mga ordinaryong tao na may puso at passion para sa proyekto at nagkaisa. Gusto kong ipakita na we only need a “heart” and the “passion” to do a movie. We don’t need that much money or connections in order to showcase our stories. We don’t need expensive expert directors and technical persons to do it, although we welcome them (only if they volunteer). We just need people with potentials and give them the opportunity to shine.

Kung sakaling marealize ang goal na ito, baka ito pa ang kauna-unahang indie na ginawa lamang ng mga volunteers. I really, really hope na magsucceed ito. Sana... kasama naming kayo sa success kung magkataon.

May kuwento na po tayo para dito, at for me, it’s a good M2M story. I personally fell in love with this story kung kaya ay naengganyo talaga akong gawan ito ng movie. May budget na rin po kami para dito, sapat lamang para sa isang (very) low-budget film (hehe).

Pero we need the following pa rin po:

(1) 

Assistance/advice pa para mas madagdagan ang kaalaman ng aming team at volunteer “managers” and “technical staffs”. May mga "managers" ang "technical staffs" na po kami and so far di na siguro namin need pa ang dagdag. What we need are advice/assistance/info. And for this, we will welcome people na may kaalaman na po sa paggawa ng pelikula kahit as advisers lamang po.

We will need also sponsors. Kahit po sa anong paraan ay tatanggapin po namin. Cash or food items, technical advice/support, equipment, shooting location, etc. Kahit pahiram lang po. We will really, really be glad to have those, para lamang makatipid. We need HD cam, lightings, computer with movie editing features, etc.

And if there are willing to co-produce, the team will be more than happy to have you. How we can have your money returned, we can discuss it. Kasi sa low-budget, baka di maganda ang pagkagawa ngunit kung tataas ang budget dahil sa co-producers, malaki ang tsansang gaganda ang pelikula dahil makukuha natin ang mga realistic shoots na required sa pelikula.

(4) 

I am also calling for a volunteer song composer para po sa theme song ng movie. I made the lyrics myself already so hindi na mahirapan ang composer. 

(5) 

We need two male main charactrers. I plan to have them screened by June, 2013, may kasama po ako sa work na uuwi sa Pinas and will help do the screening/selection. May talent fee po ang dalawang mapipiling talents na ito because we want them to be 100% committed sa project. Kahit matagal pa, we can ask them to do some workshop to learn acting, etc.

Heto po ang mga qualifications:

1) Age: 18 – 28 years old

2) Height: 5’8 and above 

3) Body: Well-built, though not nececessarily that muscular

4) With strong appeal

5) Experience: Not necessary basta committed, may potential, and willing to learn and give his best

6) Willing to go as far as torrid M2M kissing

7) Straight acting. Lalaking-lalaki sa kilos.

8) If possible ay taga Manila lang if not, dapat ay available sila sa location kada shooting.

As I’ve said, may talent fee po ang dalawang lead characters na mapipili and the talent fees are negotiable.

Models with managers need not apply po. Mahal na po kasi ang TF nila kapag ganoon. We accept only amateur volunteers but have the potential, are very interested to do acting and join the team.

Ang nasa taas lamang po ang mga kailangan naming volunteers this time. Other than that, wala pa po so far.

Sana ay suportahan ninyo ang project naming ito. Kapag nag-succeed tayo dito, hindi ninyo lang mababasa sa blog ang mga gawa naming mga authors kundi makikita na rin ito sa pelikula.
