First of all, MSOB would like to congratulate and commend the men and women volunteers behind PEBA for their successful 2011 activity which culminated in the December 9, 2011 awards night. The awards night was a very successful event and these men and women deserve to be honored and given commendation for unselfishly giving their time, energies, and talents for a cause bigger than themselves.

Second, I would like to express my deep gratitude for their humbling undertaking of honoring the OFWs. I personally don’t know what motivates them to do what they are doing but whatever it is, it’s so damn good. And they deserve our (OFWs) appreciation and commendation. You, PEBA people, are our heroes.

You don’t know us, OFWs personally but yet you try to inspire us. We, OFWs suffer the pangs of being away from loved ones, but you try to ease our pains and help us bridge the gap. We keep the sufferings to ourselves, but in what you are doing, you make us feel that “It’s OK”; that life is still beautiful… because aside from our families, there are people like you who care, support, and understand.

So our hope is for you to continue to inspire, to touch lives, to ease pains, to bridge gaps... to help make this world a better place to live.
